What position would that be??

TBF for the 2008 season Peter Sharp gave Craig Hall the number 4 squad number and he did start the season in the centres he just never made that position his own but it shows that Hull's coaching team must have had high hopes for him at that time.

Berrigan had the 9 shirt, but rarely played there. The point is Hall has produced his best rugby in the first team when he has played in his best position, left centre.

Where would he play for Rovers whose squad includes Webster. Welham, Ratu and possibly Walker? Surely his opportunities would be more likely to come on the wing, which as you say is not his best position.

I very much doubt Ratu and Walker will be at Hull KR next season. Hall will have to prove himself but he is a far more skillful centre than either of the other two. If Rovers were to move Fox back to the left wing (where he should be) and have Hall as his centre it could well be one of the most potent attacking combos in the league.

Berrigan has played 3,4,6,7,9 and 13 at a far higher standard then Super League so when injuries kick in his utility is invaluable, that is testament to his ability (though some fans may not appreciate it!)
Going back to the point that Hall hasnt had the opportunity I still believe he has had the chances at Hull to really nail down the centre spot but hasnt taken it. In 2008 Hull moved Yeaman across to right centre for a period mid season to cater for Hall at left centre whether or not he did enough to keep the shirt is debatable but clearly not in the coaches eyes.
By saying Hall is a left centre or bust is kind of saying play him anywhere else and he is a liability. I am not sure a centre in a squad game should have no flexibility position wise.
That said I agree that a confident Craig Hall playing left centre with Fox outside of him COULD be a potentially lethal pairing.

we will see what happens tonight,no doubt there will be the usual suspects on our site lineing up to blame him for what ever happens easier to blame him"including agar" as he is leaving! We all know craig has some points to his game that needs immediate addressing much like everyone else his age i suspect,,but the kids scored 250+ points for hull you don't do that by a fluke or luck,,morgan will put him left centre i'd bet my substantial salary on it...

Ratu signed a 2 year deal when he joined last year, do you envisage him being paid off?

You will always get people blaming Hall, Agar, Berro, etc, etc, its the nature of the beast unfortunately.
Everyone knows Hall has got ability that has never been in question and plenty of Rovers fans have taken pleasure in knocking the guy when he has self destructed on Sky games as well.
One thing is for sure Briers will send an early bomb in his direction tonight!
