My argument to that would be if Radford is to replace Wheeldon and it is down to his superior defensive qualities, why dont our coaching staff work with the 24 year old to improve those perceived defficiencies rather than bring in a 31 year old on more money?

Don't know, maybe they've tried and its not working out. The only reason I could see for signing Radford is his defence tho.

Were actually not the only club that does that. And certainly not in the sport world. Not that it actually matters, take it away and things are still more healthy than just about any other club in the league.
For all the inconsistency off the field, Hull FC are been run extremely well from a business perspective and have been for some time - unlike some.

I'm actually a goose (I have adaptaions for my webbed feet enabling me to type) called Terry "The Jizz" McClarney.
I lay nice big goose eggs for my owners breakfast and in return he gives me a nice bit of grain and a lovely shimmering pond to swim about in.
Every now and again, that nasty scruffy doctor, Dr. Francis McPeake from up the lane comes by on his grocers bike and I come running out to snap at his trouser legs.

he's not necessarily going to be on more money than wheeldon is on surprisingly, just more money than hull have allegedly offered him. wheeldon is on a very very good contract for being a rotation prop/squad player and one he never had a chance of being renewed once he slipped down the pecking order I gather.

If you were going to choose an animal as an alter ego, why a bird? Least of all an irritable and physically violent goose. It makes no sense. I hope for your sake you're never ill. IMO it's unwise to attack the only medic in the village on a daily basis when you live a debauched life of bacon and cigs. You need to weigh things up in a more considered way.
