He was the biggest name we could get. Nobody from the World of RL would do it so we thought the next best thing would be a local celebrity and ex RL player

Hmm, always had the impression that Hull & Rovers are both very community-orientated, were they both not prepared to help? If I was a player I'd have jumped at the chance, assuming you threw in some free training gear?
