Done Martyr in the Ebor 7/1 win so impressive last time out still a big threat with the penalty dont think 7/1 will be around tomorrow.
Bit of a step up for it though, I had my eye on overturn for the Ebor, who has exposure in some class 1's. Then again, Meehan's stable is in good form, but dangerous midge is top weight in the race.

Agree about Samuel looks the bet of the day to me at around 8/1!
Was travelling like a dream last time after a long lay off and just ran out of gas close home. A look at the horses profile suggests it runs better and improves for a run so should improve quite a bit from last time. Jockey bookings may suggest King Of Wands is first choice with Buick up, but Eddie Ahern has ridden Samuel nearly every run it's had when it was with John Dunlop so that's fine with me.
I like Temple Meads in the Gimcrack but not happy with Jimmy Fortune taking over from Richie Mullen! Won nicely twice though and looks like it will relish the extra furlong and connections rate this very highly after hearing them speak after it won at Newbury.
In a wide open Ebor I've plumped for an e/w bet on Demolition you can never rule out Richard Fahey at York and just sneaking in at the bottom comes here after a couple of fine placed efforts on what could have been livelier ground than it likes? May prefer an easier surface and can see it turning the tables on Dangerous Midge with ground difference and a big difference in weight, could easily make a good case for well over half of the field but will go with this one!

Share the same sentiments about Fortune after the Bated Breath ride on Saturday. Slightly on the slide, but just lumped on at 3's, conditions look perfect. Need to get back on the bike after Twice Over got nabbed on the line yesterday.

I backed Temple Meads last time so was looking forward to it running again today, although the negative comments on here may mean I reduce my stake. Face The Problem in the 4:15 looks the banker of the day, but is plenty short enough at 6/4.
One bet from the other racing, Hambleton 4:15 Hamilton around 6/4
Approve 3/1 place in the Gimcrack Stakes it won the Norfolk stakes well, didn't go at Newmarket trainer Haggas said it had an off day then came back to form in Group 2 Prix Robert Papin in France

Had a fairly solid tip for Rascal in the mix in the 3.15 at Carlisle.
Mate of mine knows the trainer who says it should go very well. Been backed in from 14s to 8s this morning and the support continues to come in. The trainer has had a couple of nice winners in recent weeks including the 66/1 Rios Girl at Mussleborough and 10/1 Tabaret at York.

Done out of a winning chance by poor judgement from a jockey again!
Still got the place, but Spencer was going better than anything a couple out and came from stone last and at the crucial time found all sorts of trouble and had to badly snatch up ruining all chance of winning.
Times Up certainly one to keep an eye on next time...
