THE PERFECT FRIDAY NIGHT OUT IS BACK!

• FNL to be played 27th August on eve of Carnegie Challenge Cup Final
• Skolars aiming for a record attendance

Friday 27th August at 6.30 pm will see the London Skolars 2010 regular season conclude with the traditional precursor to the Carnegie Challenge Cup Wembley Final, Friday Night Lights! The 2010 event will see the Skolars meet promotion hopefuls Oldham Roughyeds.

The event has proved popular with the Rugby League masses travelling to the capital for the game’s showpiece occasion. The Skolars are looking to significantly improve on 2009's attendance of 1,156, and the club are going all out to top that and attract a club record crowd.

Included on the day will be a Masters Rugby League festival and a match between the Political Animals and a BARLA Select XIII.

There will be a wide selection of food and real ales, many of the ales being supplied by a local brewery.

Skolars' ground is approximately 11 miles from Wembley and can be reached on the London Underground - Wood Green Station is 15 mns from Kings Cross.

Tickets are now available priced at £12 and £6 for concessions (under 16's and OAP's) and can be purchased online at our Club Shop by visiting www.skolarsrl.com

For information and bookings you can also contact Howard Kramer on 020 8888 8488 or e-mail howardkramer@skolarsrl.com.

Momentum is gathering for Friday Night Lights 2010! The schedule for the evening has been released with the Co-operative Championship 1 game between London Skolars and Oldham Roughyeds headlining. With the Skolars coming into form after beating Gateshead 68-22 last weekend, it promises to be a superb climax of the regular season.

Another exciting feature of the evening includes the Political Animals taking on a BARLA Select XIII. The Political Animals side comprises Lords and MPs, past and present, as well as Parliamentary staff and those who have sought or are seeking election outside Westminster.

Schedule of the day

3.30pm - Masters Festival
4.30pm - All-Party Parliamentary Group v BARLA Chairman’s Select XIII
6.30pm - London Skolars v Oldham Roughyeds - Co-operative Championship 1

Tickets are selling fast for this year's Friday Nights Lights fixture, with many Rugby League fans using the Skolars online facility to purchase their tickets. It's a quick and easy process and your tickets will be sent out to you same day.
