Bit on Balius @ 9/4 W/O fav in a single and 9/2 outright am due a bad Saturday though

Can't believe Kite Wood is 7/4 V Sans Frontieres 9/2 even without Dangerous Midge, Sans could really be a very very good horse and could progress even more from that last run, got to respect Kite Wood and the others but 7/4 is silly watch it romp home

Kite Wood won this race with a lot to spare last year and was made favourite for the Leger due to his style of win. Was against better rivals that day and I think with the rain coming it'll be another flying dismount Saturday to follow last week. Carries a stone more today but taking into account the opposition and he is on his favoured ground I don't see that as a problem. Will be having a nice little bet on Kite Wood. Little the appropriate word, was only a tenner.

I like Zaidan but not sure about this Native Khan, could be anything, so inclined to leave that one alone - along with the Hungerford. No future Paco Boy in the line-up and looks very open. Got a fiver on Ouqba.

In the 2.00 at Newbury this will be the softest ground any of them have faced. Zaidan and Native Khan top the betting by a mile, but who knows if they will go on the surface.


Bets today currently Kite Wood and Bated Breath, going to see what else looks like going in. Might take Tajneed as Pricewise is in belting form of late, try and find one more for a lucky15.

I like Classic Punch in the 4.30 at Newmarket. In this 5 runner field, he could easily dictate from the front again on a track he loves - the soft ground could make it hard to peg him back as well.

The only thing worries me for Sans Frontieres is the ground, its a Group 1 horse and Noseda knows it.

Something a miss with Zaidan maybe the ground

That was why I avoided the race, certainly expected him to be placed - must be the ground.

Aye, didn't quite realise how handy his 3y-o form read until today.

My bets for today are Kite Wood in a single, Ouqba in a single, and Tajneed, Bated Breath, Classic Punch and Ouqba in a L15.

Really like Ouqba and now the race has lost a few he looks to have a good chance.

Of the above I certainly couldn't put anyone off Kite Wood and Ouqba.

TBH I'd love to see Traffic Guard (4.30 Newmarket) register an overdue success.

Had a big dollop on Bated Breath this morning.
Ground could be a big problem as it's continued to p!ss down.
