Had a pocket money bet on Fencing Master for the St Leger @ 50/1 E/W and 489/1 an 479/1 win.

Good chance it might not even go but this horse defo needs a trip I think and 1m6f could well suit it, the other races its entered are 1m2f and back the 1m again can't see it going in them, did pretty well in the St Leger trial coming 4th the build up for that race wasnt the best at all with the short odds defeat over the mile few days earlier, if it does go then it wont be 489/1 and would be a chance of a nice lay for either a big win or 50 odd if it didn't, this could be one big brain fart though

Leaning towards Cas tonight (+10pts) against Leeds. They tend to run Leeds close anyway and teams coming out of CC Semi- Finals often underachieve the following week against teams who have had a week off.

Not as confident now given the downpour of crap loads of rain, so laid a little bit off.

Sans Frontieres tomorrow @ 7/2 looks very good was finally fit last time out according to Noseda and landed the Princess of Wales stakes, was tipped for big things but had a set back, the way it won last time suggests the extra 1f and a bit will suit, Redwood has come out and boosted the form by winning a Group 3.

Newbury 2.00 Zaidan 7/4 very smart horse won easily last time and will be a Group horse.

Newmarket 3.20 Iver Bridge Lad 16/1 E/W down 2lbs and only 1lb higher when second here in June has form on soft ground as well.

Target is the Group 2 Topkapi Trophy in Turkey but can win this on the way, needed the first run for 9 odd months last time won 2 Group 2 races last year was 2nd in the Hong Kong Cup in 2008 also 2nd in the QEII Cup along with other placed finishes in top Group company, soft ground tomorrw shouldn't be a problem with wins on very soft in France and place efforts on heavy in Group races and was a good 5th in Group 1 Premio Roma on heavy last year as well.
