I didn't realise that the only decent players in Oz are those currently in the Origin set up. My word, they have a lot of dross over there.

Mason is in outstanding form in the NRL. and will look even better if he comes to Super League.

Don't see that anything else is relevant.

Got to say that after watching the Cowboys and Knights last week I would have to disagree there.

And you take his performance in one match and use it to form your view of his form over a full season?

No it was just the most recent performance that sprang to mind. I take a fair interest in the NRL and stand by the fact that Willie Mason is not ripping up trees in Oz and to be called the player with the highest stock behind Lockyer beggers belief.

It is only my opinion.

I watch a fair bit of NRL but havnt seen enough of North Queensland on tv this year to form a view of Masons form. His appearance record and limited stats that i have seen still suggest he has had a fair season in the best comp in the world.
With regards "stock", i would wager that in the past decade there have been more headlines written about Mason than any other player in world rugby. Not always for the right reasons though! I guess it depends on what criteria you use to define "stock".

Our stances on this one are quite funny given that Mason is far more likely to join Hull than Rovers.

Not really mate cos I know there is a chance that he may end up at Hull with all the rumours, O'Meley link etc.

The stock debate is earlier in the thread and I think most people agree the news headlines aint necessarily a good thing.

The guy carries too much baggage for mine regardless of where he ends up playing his rugby next season.
