We could only dream and now those dreams have a chance to become reality, due to the progress the club has made in such a short space of time thanks to the powers that be, Mason would become arguably the Super Leagues biggest ever signing

Agree. In terms of profile, there's only Lockyer who has more stock IMO.

Did you cancel you sky subscription back in 2006 Zoddie?
Mason has been headline news for the last couple of years for all the wrong reasons and mainly due to his off the field issues. On the pitch he is a shadow of what he was. A move to Super League may well re ignite his playing career time may tell but he has a hell of a lot of baggage in tow IMO.
To suggest he has higher stock then Inglis, Slater et al is just ridiculous!
If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Cameron Smith, Jonathon Thurston, Billy Slater, Sonny Bill, Jarad Hayne, Isreal Falou, Greg Inglis, to name a few would exceed Mason IMO - and I stress that is merely my opinion.

I don't think all of those are of higher profile than Willie Mason

Does anybody know what anybody else is talking about at this juncture?

Well, given that one of those is injured, ones off the AFL and another is in RU (I think, still?) I'm not really sure what you're trying to say...
If you're saying that Mason isn't the best player in the World then, yes, you're correct, It would be a ( fanciful, believe it when it happens coup) big signing, not sure it's in our best interests.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

After re reading your probably correct. They are all bigger names in a playing context but probably less so in profile context. Few players would generate the media circus Mason would in joining a SL club.
