My nan used to talk of him when I was younger and said he played for Wales (Union) and went north to Wigan but I thought it was old person muddled up talk. As it turned out I had a funeral a few weeks back and a certain member of the family still has the Wales RU caps and pics of him playing for Wigan etc. I feel a bit more rugby league than ever before.
I'm hardly going to find too much but found out he left the year Wigan got to the first Challenge Cup at Wembley. Not as though I'm going to find many Sky clips of him either is there but interesting stuff all the same.
Found out recently that I have an ex Wigan player in the family-

Yes seen that. Pretty sure that is him.
Wigan made the first Challenge Cup Final at Wembley the same year.
I'd love to pop up and see his things which they still have. His Welsh union caps are worth a bomb I bet but obviously huge sentimental value for his granddaughter/greatgranddaughter who has them.

But please think of all the positive things in life. Just because it's happened to one member of your family doesn't necessarily mean it's hereditary. You still have hope at least. He probably only did it for the money, I'm sure he realised the moral horror of his actions, rest assured we won't think any less (Well, perphaps a bit) of you.
