Someone on the Saints board has said he's in talks with us. Any truth in this ?

i dont think theres any truth in it but i did hear summat similar myself, came across more speculation of his agent trying to find a super league club tho, might be wrong tho

Fair play to all concerned, was a horrific injury. Think Rovers have done the right thing though by not renewing a contract.

Isn't there a rule which states if a player is out injured for more than a specific period of time it allows his club to cancel his contract ?
I vaguely remember it being used previously...i think

Hope the guy gets a new contract somewhere after his horrendous injury but assume anyone signing him would put in a clause about playing so many games or he gets a pay as you play deal etc.

Think thats how the Bulls got rid of Tupou a year or two ago.
