I think Blake Green could turn out to be a great signing for Rovers. OK so he may not be holding down a regular place but let's face the NRL is a far superior competition and if he is seen as average over there then he could probably come over here and be one of the stand out players. The NRL is full of talented half backs and they could probably pick at least 5 teams that would beat the England team. Dobson played second fiddle in his NRL career and look at how well he has done for us. Its often the case that the Australians that come over as unknowns make the biggest impact rather than the big names i.e Ben Galea, Pat Richards, Clint Newton. As Lee Richardson said, anyone who plays NRL can play Rugby and that Ricky Stuart rued his decision to let him go.

And look at the names who've come over and failed miserably while getting a nice payday. Players like Berrigan

Some don't come from Australia to get a nice payday, some don't even have to play, like Mills.

It's good that people are confident he's a "great" signing already though. Has anyone actually seen him play?

Yes Berrigan would be a good example although he hasn't had the best of support from his team and has had to play numerous positions. He always tries his backside off and at times was just flogging a dead horse.

But somehow you just get a gut feeling that he'll come over and be a star player after being second fiddle in Australia similar to Dobson.

Yes as I said i've watched him in the NRL and it's not the sort of signing that jumps out and you think BRILLIANT

Listen Hull FC didn't rate Dobbo wen rule and her oh whats her name went to watch him play, BIG MISTAKEi would say think we need to gives Morgan bit more credit luk at what Clinton is doing for us now, he as an eye for players he can develop and help and would argue with any FC fans if they turned round and said were soooooo glad we didn't sign Dobbo cos it would simply be untrue. So if we ave signed him lets give him a chance like we did Dobbo cos Dobbo has turned out to be one of the most consistent players in the Super League...Oh and one of the best.

As bad as Mills is, he definitley played more times than Crocker and was on less pay.

According to the other board, you've paid Mills £140k for 4 games, yet you say we paid Crocker more than this? OK.
