exactly, I'm using ever ounce of self control to not scream NO!! to this supposed signing and state (in very candid terms) why I think it would be awful for us because I know when I do the announcement will be made and I'll have to eat my words..
FWIW, the person who told me this is the same one who guaranteed that Ben Galaea had signed a two year contract for fc...so fortunately he has a track record in this department.

What, apart from giving him 5 years on a good contract, the captaincy, the club captaincy and awarding him community player of the year, you mean? He's well appreciated at FC, but is 32 in March and at his stage of career maybe money, and length of contract talk.

Thought they took the captaincy away from him because of the overwhemling opposition ( on rlfans anyway ) to him keeping it.
