Now I may be way off the mark but wasn't it Mason who was always very anti players leaving oz for SL. He wanted to have them removed from the hall of fame if they ever 'defected' etc. Would be a big about face for him to come over although his views may have changed due to his age and the money he would get.
I agree would be a top signing but I really can't see it, cash being the biggest problem.
Hasn't he also got a colourful record with the police? Could be wrong. He's been looking pretty average at prop this year but form is temporary and class is permanent I suppose. Would be a monster signing.
Urinating in public is his only conviction, I believe.
