There's a little bit of difference in my mind between dropping a decent high bomb to not being able to pick up a drop out with no pressure. Tansey is probably afforded more leniency due to his positive contributions being much greater than that of Craig Hall.

back to topic. imo craig hall with a bit of confidence has the ability with ball in hand to score something out of nothing. not the strongest in defence tho. however without confidence, his knack for summat off the cuff and full length of the pitch tries is reduced to zero, and basic errors creep in and is a waste of time.
confidence players are always a gamble which can go either way

I hope not.
I would take a half fit (majority of the time) Karl Pryce anyday over Hall.

i remember when kris welham was well known for his poor tackling maybe Agar just hasn't spent the time with hall to make him into a better defence player, i think Morgan would see it as a challenge and to also stick two fingers up to the dullers, i would welcome Craig Hall

Stats don't tell the full picture especially when you only post half of them avaliable. How does Tansey's try assists, tackle busts and attacking kicks stack up to Hall's? If you think Craig Hall's contribution to Hull FC is greater than Jordan Tansey's then you need to watch a hell of a lot more of our games.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

With 4 players in the top 11 for missed tackles it hardly seems Morgan is the expert in making players into top defenders...

Wingers are usually receiving assists rather than supplying them.
Matty_HullFC wrote:...tackle busts.....

Surely this can only be measured by how many times you've been tackled, IE, if he's been tackled 117 times then it's bad, if only 17 times then it's good.
Matty_HullFC wrote:...attacking kicks....

It's usually a wingers duty to recieve the ball and run the ball over the line, or to run onto "an attacking Kick" to score..

Thats why i didn't bother with those stats.

Oh and

You do realise in Tansey's 22 appearances he played the full 80 and most of Craig Hall's have been cameos of half games? That said, Tansey's stats are shocking. Thank you for the pick-me-up!
