Expectations won't be high and nor will his wage. It'd be a gamble, but not a big one. He seems to be going backwards at the moment, but a fresh start might be what he needs. He'd only be a squad player initially. At worst he gives us a bit of depth in the 3/4s, at best he develops into the player it looked, 2 or 3 years ago, he could become. Goal kicker too and we don't have many if anything happens to Dobson.

Absolutely spot on.

Right that's it. When we sign Greg Inglis I am going to burn down Craven Park, put tacks under Morgan's Q7's tyres and pull Hudgell's chair out from under him just as he's about to sit down.

These people are destroying our club.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Plus, i hope he doesn't watch the replay of the game, Agar's reaction to Halls mistake wont help his confidence either, very unprofessional of Agar.

What do you expect him to do? Smile? A player effectively not only un did all the hard work his team mates did by forcing a drop out but he also piggy backed Wigan up the pitch.

Just like Scott Wheeldon was finally going to get a decent coach and would turn into a top prop... Hmm. We'll wait and see, like I said earlier on the FC board I hope he does realise his potential. From an International point of view if there's anything England lack it's a decent centre.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

He isn't a good public speaker and I think we'll have seen the last of Hall in a Hull shirt unless there are mass injuries over the river.

If he comes to Rovers as cover I think he's worth a punt. He has the ability to do some amazing things with ball in hand and with confidence he can be a top try scorer. He could also be loaned out month to month to a NL1 side but be available for when we may need him like we would have used him now with Webster, Walker, Welham, Colbon and Ratu all out.

We're coming to make some noise!

Tbf and not necessarily putting it down to coaching, Wheeldon had a very decent 2009. This year Vella has been fit more often, Clinton has arrived and Watts has come on a lot so he's not had as many opportunities. I don't think anybody thought he was going to turn into Jamie Peacock, but he's done well I think. He's unlucky not to be given a new contract IMO - ironically he's probably, to an extent, a victim of the rules intended to promote young British players. Still, he'll get a gig elsewhere I'm sure.

Dont rule out Wheeldon being retained just yet.

So this forced drop out cost Hull FC 46 points did it, and stopped them scoring a single point? So your effectively saying Craig Hall cost you the game.......

I would be disappointed to see Wheeldon go. As GML said, he had a great season last year and when called upon this year has been solid and reliable. I thought he was very good against Bradford and showed good pace for a prop when he made that break. I don't know why people say he's lightweight as he is at least 16 stone and hits as hard as any in SL.

Defensively he's not the best, his tackligs attempts at times are just lazy arms hung out for players to brush aside, the Bradford try after his break shows this tendancy perfectly.
