I just think that 1 year after Massa was nearly killed in a f1 car it would have been good for Ferrari to have let them battle for the win than make him move over,It's not as though Alonso is now favourite for the title with the extra points he got today.

Massa should have refused to move over, then they could have raced and we could have seen what happened, however they will have seen what happened when Vettel and Webber raced a couple of months back and, obviously, that would be the last thing they wanted.

Of course Massa didn't say no probably because he has a contract stipulating he is the number 2 driver, for me that shouldn't be allowed.

At least we saw some overtaking today,it's Hungary next week and usually more chance of getting blood out of a stone than watching an exiting race at that track

Interesting to see or should that be no sign of Luca di Montezemolo spouting that the race "was misrepresentative" & "that is a very serious and unacceptable event that creates dangerous precedents, throwing a shadow over the credibility of Formula One"

Funny how Alonso isn't shouting from the rooftops about this race been manipulated.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Not a big F1 fan but ended up watching todays GP as my brother-in-law follows it, was worth watching it just for Eddie Jordan afterwards, thought it was going to come to blows when talking to that bloke from Ferrari after the race.

I saw that too. I only actually started watching F1 around the time of his last title/Mansell's year, so I didn't get to see a great deal of Senna in a truly competitive car, or really fully appreciate what I was seeing. Some of the footage shown on that Top Gear piece definitely makes me want to see more, I'll be keeping an eye out for that documentary they mentioned.

I have a problem with Schumacher. There's no doubting he was exceptional, but his dominance was certainly aided by him having a very impressive car, with the only other guy with a matching one having explicit instructions not to beat him.

ferrari had a one two, they decided to switch the positions which gained the team nothing
when both drivers can still win the title that is wrong and against the rules to favour one driver
alonso cant handle a team mate who will challenge him, the best drivers of all time werent afraid to go toe to toe with a man in the same equipment, it's a tainted victory if team orders are brought in at this early stage to give away positions, the mclarens are racing and so are the red bulls, the ferraris should do the same

The Ferrari International Assistance group come to the aid of the Prancing Horse with a little fine over an obvious coded instruction for Massa to move. Poor Massa as you could see it in his face how pickled he was with it and his response in the press conference said it all as well as his race engineer saying sorry.

Jordan ad Domenicali are friends and were having a laugh.
