It would add a lot of interest to the Workington game if we could beat South Wales (we should beat Gateshead easily) and go into that last fixture with some sort of a chance of a play-off place at the expense of probably South Wales and Swinton.. South Wales have tough fixtures...so we could overtake them.
I can see them only getting four points max.
Results for Swinton would have to go our way given Swinton have got Gateshead last and they need 6 points, that's only three excluding an almost certain victory over Gateshead.
Workington only need 3 points and have decent fixtures apart from Hunslet away.

This discounts vast goal difference swings.

It wasn't a particularly great game of rugby with a lot of errors on both sides but in reality the Dons always looked like taking the 3 points although they managed to make us feel quite nervous at times during the second half. However, an away win anywhere is well worth taking. Haven't checked the attendance yet but I don't think that I have ever been to a fixture at that level with so few watching.
