I said it goes hand in hand with aggression which is part of the game...you said Absolute Rubbish

RBA said it is a by-product of aggression which is part of the game...you said Spot On.

The diffence in those statements is nil!!

You do not want to debate with me, you want to argue...erm

You said its part and parcel of the game RBA said its not.

If you accept biff is part and parcel of the game you must think it was ok for Cockayne to lose his wrag on Thursday and cause the brawl. Yet you all call him for for being a dirty Tw@. At the same time you try ridiculing Newton for NOT running from the other side of pitch to get involved.

I'm not sure what your position really is on 'biff' (or does it depend on wht colour shirt they are wearing)

Not a fan of just having a ruck for the sake of it, but if the opposition are being particularly dirty I dont see the problem with sorting one or two out to show you wont stand for it.

For once we are in agreement.

And as the disciplinary cited seven hull offences out for various foul plays during the game made by six seperate hull players....and opposition players believing they are not get adequate protection from the officials, can fully understand why this ruck started

Standing up to the forum bully.

It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated

For the most part the derby games (since you lot made it into SL) have been fairly uneventful in terms of tempers spilling over. In terms of league standings and what was riding on the game I've got no problem with, what I would class, a minor flare up. Each altercation didn't last long and nobody lost the plot, the players were more then happy to shake hands and forget about it (for the time being  ) a warning would be more then sufficient (shouldn't even have had players ordered in IMO).

I propose a new debate...

Will the views of pompous boring Tory farts ever become relevant to the traditional working class sport of rugby league? Or will they always inherently be too far removed from the soul of the game?

And what and where are all these wrags that you think players keep losing?

If a player wants to use their fists they should take up boxing. It may get all the airheads in the stands playing with themselves in excitement but has no place on the rugby field.

If fans on the terraces started showing their 'passion' for the game you'd soon be up in arms.
Never played the game then :?: That was ham bags stuff ..Like to bet the last punch you throw was when somebody pinched your dummy :SNOOTY:.. nobody was hurt it added spice to the game

Ahhhhhhh the old class war, now there's a blast from the past!!!!

.........you're obviously a lot older than me though, with all those out dated views

Doubtless you'll be against all those Tory corporates keeping your club going then??
