Looked to be rovers lowest turnout for a KC derby to me. I'm guessing 3000 to 3200 or so in the North (which only holds 4000 when reserved, so unreserced take off 10% and there were 2 sections closed off for segregation) and a smaller number in west stand than usual. About 5000 I'd have thought rathere than the usual 6000 which are there and Hull were probably 2000 or so down.

I was loving (a few) non proper city fans jibes to me. They can only dream as can many of what we have. A proper city sporting rivarly. A proper one. How good is that.
Ps I hope you wallow and die in misery especially cockayne
Well said, as for your ps, we think the same, just replace Cockayne with Yeaman.

The upper west had large empty spaces, which i believe was given to Rovers!! (putting the banter to one side it was never going to be a sell out on a Thursday due to other commitments etc)

If this is true, can you arrange to have it delivered to our place by next weekend, we could do with a few more seats!
BTW, we were given 500 tickets for it, which were all sold.

Why does the game being played on a Thursday affect anything? What are people doing on Thursday which stop s them going yet they can on a Friday?
Wigan v Warrington was altered at the same time as the FC vRovers game. Yet they got 22,700 (in a town of 90,000) compared to the 20,079 at the biggest derby in the universe and everywhere else.
Is it only Hull rugby fans who can't alter arrangements with 2 weeks notice? Everyone else in rugby, and football, seem to manage.

Oh believe me, it was. Why did the derby not sell out at CP? There were empty seats in the north stand. Despite our shocking 2 previous seasons, our attendances have still increased, i think that tells it's own story.
