Despite the fact that Myler was offside, Richards scored, we were offside all the time, etc, etc. All by you on your site.

Last night was a good effort ,but wigan will not drop 3 pts over the rest of the season so i can't see us topping the table I still think it is thiers , I can though see us winning the grand final and beating stains at home , next week will also be crucial as I think catalans will be out to cause injury to our team with the CC only 2 weeks later which is thier whole season in a match similar to us last year ,

To lay it to rest we need to beat Saints (how many wins have we had against them in the SL era...???) and Leeds, we went through a spell of beating Leeds every now and then but since Rauhihi day they have had it over us.

Wigan are very much like us this year, the surprise package and new pretenders to the top two, I don't think there's a Big 4 yet, in SL there's a Big 2 who contest the Grand Final every season. If it's a Wire v Wigan Grand Final that will show that the Big 2 has been broken.

thats a pretty much spot on analysis.

Very gracious of you. Although, shock horror, you have different views on the Wigan board...

Quote:Lost it in the forwards battle

Myler was offside I think, will watch it again.

Richards no try was the same as the Meli one.

They played dirty in the first 20 mins.

Why was it wires ball when Mathers messed up from Joel Tomkins kick through?

Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.

knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm

According to the stats on SKY, we've only won 3 times at the Dodging Wembley stadium in the SL era including last night, so still a good achievement.

You can't see them dropping 3 points with games yet to come like

Hull (A)
Leeds (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Hull KR (A)

??

PS I've left out Bradford

Where's this 3pts come from ?

We need them to lose a game, when they lose there pts will suffer, at the same time, we need to give somebody a good hiding, say 30-40 pts win, which we're very, very capable of.

You'd think we're -200.

Hull (A) - Not easy place to go but we have a very good record against the Black and Whites so i think we will sneak 2 points
Leeds (A) - 50/50 although this is a week before the big semi with Saints
Huddersfield (H) - Dont rate them this season can see a 20 point win
Hull KR (A) - Can see us winning 'ugly' here when the pressure is on

Prediction, we (Wigan) will drop 2 more points

Im more worried about Leeds coming to the DW in september and doing what you did last night to us, if we lose we can write off a GF appearance as far as im concerned

Gaining momentum coming towards the playoffs is key, if you beat saints i can see you lot getting a great run and winning the GF

We shall see...

Play like you did last night and fail to score in 25 minutes camped on our goal line and you won't beat any of them...

It was a poor performance, in the first half, we dont usually play like that :(

You could probably blame it on Injuries and Suspensions but Ive got a theory Wigan dont play well when they are favorites, much rather be backs against the wall like the last game at KR, thats why im worried about the First playoff game.

We played really well between 50-65 minutes and if Joel would have passed right when he broke through it could have been a different story.

Does anyone think the game was reminiscent of last years game at the HJ?
