A particular play summed him up for me. I think it was against Wire on the televised Saturday game. He made a tackle & stood at the PTB pointing to his left, in a Paul Anderson stylee, Higham ran from PTB to Worrincy's right, who just stood there bemused as Wire went the full length to score.

To be fair to Worrincy, every Bradford player for the last 8 years or so seems to stand there while Higham runs past them from dummy half. I hate us playing against him as he ALWAYS rips us apart, regardless of who he's playing for at the time.

Just think we signed Higham for about 45 minutes and then swapped him for Terry Newton

Serves us right for signing him and not letting him play. Maybe we should have kept him instead of doing the swap for Tezza?

At the time, we seemed to be getting the best deal out of that.

Benefit of hindsight eh?

As Kev points out we struggle against nippy dummy halves no matter who they are. We've had a lot of better players than Worrincy who've been made to look like stupid, cumbersome carthorses at the marker.

IMO Worrincy get caught flat footed too often as he looks to plant himself ready then gets surprised when the player doesn't just run straight into him. That's when he's not running out of the line and missing.

Physically he's about the same size as Jamie Langley but just never imposes himself in the same way. Once he does turn and run after them he's got a decent turn of speed and you can see why Macca would make him a project as he's got the tools but not the instruction manual.

That is a superb line to describe him. Absolutely spot on.

Are you Jack Gibson in disguise?
