One thing i have thought this year though is the distance between fullback and the defensive line, we have been caught out with the little chip and chase, it cost us the game against Wigan.

Didn't do too bad smashing Matt King in to touch though did he?

He misses a fair few tackles racing out the line, but he's also nailed a few that have probably won us games. Would like to see a few of the more higher paid 'stars' show the same level of consistency that Welham has for the last couple of years.

Thats his problem, everytime I watch Rovers on Sky he always seems to jump in like a headless chicken. Always costing you tries/metres. Hes good in attack though.

We're always sh1t3 on the telly. I wouldn't read too much into that

It's not his problem he is coached to do this and is merely doing what is asked of him by his coach. He does not always cost tries by doing this but saves many being scored against Rovers.
All good centres do this in this modern game. It is employed to cause panic in the attack into making a mistake or hurrying up the tactical kicker or to break down a move
