Strong rumours of Finch going the same way too, hopefully not but with the latest Rovers resurgence, do we need him?
Yes we do still IMO.

How could we have fitted them both in anyway, without paying off a couple of O/S players.
I will be amazed if Fich is a Robin next season TBH, where is e cash coming from, we must be close to the cap now.

Galea may be coming off quota and Newton already has - according to the HDM.
Cooke's wages, Mills's, maybe Walker's and Wheeldon's?

Newton? How does this work, is it because he's "American".
This system is ludicrous, we'll have The Man From Atlantis playing for us next based on the fact he once swam past The Isle of Man and caught a halibut.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

RFL rules meet UK law - it has, of necessity, led to compromise by the RFL. Quite a lot of compromises over over an extended period. If you'd deliberately wanted to confuse people, you'd have struggled to do better!

Regarding Finch, we all think he's nailed on us, and Wigan all think he's nailed on them lol. So it's just the waiting game until there's either an announcement at Craven Park or the DW.
Looking at it realistically, he's bound to go to Wigan, they can probably offer him more money, he'd be playing alongisde Hoffman and Lima who he has been with for a few years, and playing under McGuire, an ex coach of his. Only real pulling factors for Rovers are, I reckon him and Dobson will be a better pair than him and Tomkins (IMO, down to styles only) and him and Newton been "friends" and Morgan used to play with him.
Hope he signs for us, but at this present time I think Wigan will be his colours next year

personally, I hope we aren't putting all our efforts in just to sign finch, it's pretty clear we need a top class off half for next season and hope we have alternative plans if finch decides on wigan
