I am glad we are getting someone who sounds like a top larker however it eats at me that we are giving Wigan a helping hand to bring on one of their youngsters who will no doubt become a class SL player in the near future. We could be giving our youngsters a chance here to prove themselves as Kris Welham did only last year and Scott Taylor and even Latus of late.
Mariano may not have been playing great in the academy set up but he is a big unit, has pace and is difficult to stop when played at centre. He does have a first team debut already under his belt but that I think was in the cup against lower league oposition and also playing in the back row and not centre.
I hope the kid does well and I also hope we keep hold of him till October and he scores the winning try at Old Trafford but I guess he'll be heading back to the rainy side of the pennines in 4 weeks time and maybe will score the winning try at Old Trafford but in Cherry not Red and White!!!!

Hope he has a good spell at your place - he lives three doors down from me and he is a really good lad. Hopefully, if he plays Friday night, hope he has a stinker!
Seriously though, I am sure you will be impressed with him. He can also kick which might help or give options other than Dobson.

Fully agree, hope he gets a good run out tomorrow for hull kr, show what he's got! Shame he didnt get to play last week, after Pat came out last minute... but at 19 he's got all the time in the world.

Probably necessary with Welham, Ratu, Walker and Webster out, the last 3 at least long-term.
