I'm sure Tyldesley was trying to speak in two different voices at times though, thankfully that's the last I'll have to hear from him.

I thought they'd have had Townsend sit in for Jim.

He was too far away, IIRC they were all in Johannesburg and the game was in Cape Town.

See Van Bommel is still a dirty coward. So out of his depth at Barcelona and would be a shame to see him get a World Cup winner's medal.
The Dutch physio must be the best in the world. They go down like they've been shot and 30 seconds later (after the yellow card has been shown) they're running round and firing in crosses to be put in the back of the net.

He's an absolute horror isn't he?? The modern-day Makelele - always niggling away and takes about 8 fouls to even get booked, if he gets booked at all.
That challenge before the first Holland goal was horrific and should have been a straight red for me.

COME ON SPAIN!!!

Not only would it be great to see those arrogant Germans go out at the Semi Finals again, but a Holland v Spain final would guarantee a new name on the trophy, a scenario which has not been possible since 1978: and Spain v Holland would be a better final anyway.

I actually want the German's to win. They've been the best side in the competition so far.

I haven't been paying much attention to what goes on between matches, but how have the Germans been arrogant?

I think that Holland vs Germany would be a cracking final. No love lost between them and both playing some attractive football at the moment.

Not totally sure whether it was a foul on the edge of the box or a pen, but I'm 100% sure that was a foul by Spain.

Should have been a free-kick and a red card.
