Do we have any resources to dip into the loan market and even if we do who is available who could do a job for us especially now Ratu has been ruled out for the rest of the season

What we have got is doing okay and they deserve credit for that. Hopefully Briscoe and Colbon will be back soon, too. Another back would be useful, especially a centre. If it is just for a few games, give Mariano a chance. One more injury or set back and it starts look a bit bleak though, going into the business end of the season. Backs generally - Kevin Penny, is he back at Wire after his spell at Quins? Centres - is there anybody? All squads are wearing thin at this stage of the season.

With Webster and Ratu gone for the season and doubts about Kris Welhams fitness i reckon Justin will have contacted every agent in the game today to see if there are any centres out there that could be made available immediately. The problem is, the only players likely to be available domestically will be fringe players and under 20s. In which case we would be better off sticking with what we have even if it means a bit of re-shuffling. Matt Cook has played plenty in the centres and i think Liam Colbon has covered there before.

I cannot see a problem with playing a big mobile second rower in the centre, I wouldn't be too concerned if Clint and Matt were in the centres, I am old enough to remember an injury crisis that saw Phil Lowe and Phil Hogan play centre against Cas one year and we battered them.

Agreed. The problem is that the loan door shuts soon I think. If Welham's injury is bad, Mariano getting a shot and bringing in a player on loan don't look like mutually exclusive options.
The situation will hopefully be eased by Briscoe and Colbon returning.
The silver lining is that a player like Latus getting game time is the only way we are going to develop depth in the squad.
