I don't think there can be many players who cover hooker and full back, and anywhere in between. On his day, as good as anyone. I was always frightened to death when he was at the back and had a propensity for letting the high ball bounce. But as another poster has written, that try in the CC final 2005 was pure genius.
We have Ben Cockayne, plays FB, Wing, Centre, Hooker and Loose man. He will play in any position to a good standard, he rarely gets injured (unlike MT) and now his head has cooled down, he looks a much better player.
Ben is still a young lad and has proven he will give 110% everytime he pulls on our shirt, much better option than Tony IMO.

True enough but you sometimes need one than player of that ilk.

Other than the last 18 months Motu's injury record isnt too bad. I think he's a better player when fit than Cockayne in all of the positions you named.

IIRC prior to signing for Hull he missed pretty much all of the season at Cas with a knee problem.
Though i'm not his biggest fan Cockayne has surprised me this season, particularly when playing fb. He seems very assured in that position and although i think Briscoe is the more solid option i think Cockayne gives rovers better attacking options and his kick returns are more dynamic.

IMO, Cockayne (particularly this season) has proved himself among the better utility players in super league. Always gives 110%, and when not conceeding needless penalties is the kind of player most clubs would like to have in their squad.
Standing up to the forum bully.

Have you turned into some sort of link robot MrPhilb?
If you have, I'd reccomend Dr. Who as a potential healer, sorted me right out when I had a bad case of Cyber Man.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
