From William Hill tempting i do think
See above Col, Hills 5/6 but others such as Skybet will pay 10/11.

Dreadfully predictable....32-16....not even a bonus point. Glad I never went. I really ought to bet on the outcome of these games...because they are SO PREDICTABLE...although I think it is wrong betting against your own side. When are they going to spring another surprise? I maintain we can beat these sorts of sides given our talent...but we don't, especially not away. So much for play-off dreams.......we can forget that! COYD
London Skolars 28-26 Rochdale....it seems even the London trip is not a gimme now.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
No we made a few changes & a new prop called Ben Jones .
We played well in the first half but were well beaten in the 2nd half . A few dodgy referee decisions went against us & York's no 30 had a good game at prop .
We also lost our discipline late on in a game we could have won but in the York deserved the points.
One question why did we only have 1 prop on the bench . Where was Carbutt & Stanley . I assume Scott Johnson isnt fit & Bovill is on holiday what about Paul Shaw .

TAKEN FROM THE OTHER FANS FORUM: great second half display by the boys in the face of some very underhand stuff from dirty donny ,
haha wot a joker

thought Benno was a bit daft with the spear tackle , could prove costly for him , but no wonder young Tom retaliated , think i,d of been vexed of if someone was trying to remove my head , something Donny seemed to be very adept at . listened to Dave Woods on RADIO YORK seemed happy with the display , we have some promising youngsters in the squad who under Mr Woods can only get better , Jack Stearman & Luke Hardbottle being two good examples , think the future is quite bright smile.gif smile.gif
Enjoyed the game especialy the first half into a very strong wind. The second half was marred by a few bad handling mistakes and a poor penalty count not helped by a poor referee who pulled the Dons up on petty decisions and York never pulled up once for off side which got embarrasing at one point. The scoreline flattered York in my opinion but the Dons faded in the second half although never gave up .
Decent first half but the second half was pretty dire although the man-in-the-middle made a number of mystifying decisions.
A number of questions / comments from today ...
1. Team selection ... I take it there were half at least three or four players unavailable today? There must have been because otherwise you wouldn't pick that 17.
2. Substitutions ... It doesn't matter how long a player has been at the Club or how popular he is, when he has had the ball twice in the space of 2 minutes midway through the second half and put it on the floor on both occasions and is looking out-of-sorts, don't leave him on the pitch to miss a tackle in our defensive line when defending the tryline! (Ironically a substitution was made just after the ball was coughed-up the second time but the struggling player remained to be targetted by the opposition).
3. Mr Roby ... What the hell was he doing today? He seems to have invented a new offence where you cannot tackle round the ankle judging from the repeated times we were apparently penalised for it! His decision making was bizarre and his communication worse!
4. Officials ... If a touch judge feels the need to raise their flag and come onto the pitch why do we end up with an 'on report'? That touch judge either has seen something or they haven't and if they haven't why raise the flag and enter the field of play?
5. Alex Benson ... Grow up! If you are not embarrassed by both the spear tackle and your reaction at the end of the game then you still have a lot of growing up to do! Disappointing from a player who was well-respected during his time with the Dons.
I thought it was a good game, Donny played very well up to the last 15 mins when a little bit of indisipline crept in and spoilt whay was a really good performance against a better team ( not a million miles better though )

Thought we played oktoday to be honest. The referee wasnt consistant at all. if hes going to pull us up for stuff then at least he has to do the same with York. Aaron Henry made some great runs looking for the chip over the top and I thought he did well today.
Disgraceful disrespectful york fans at the end though. Not that I expected any different however.
