There were so many things going on with that incident, that people were all disagreeing with others on after viewing replays, then it makes a mockery of those who think it's some kind of solution to all ills.
Even simply goal-line technology would bring issues, imagine Suarez was half a yard further back last night and Ghana thought it was over the line, what if we looked last night to see if the ball has crossed the line but found it hadn't because it was stopped by his hand, it would have to be a penalty, but why should we then ignore the fact there were two Ghana players offside and very active in the six yard box, not to mention that the free-kick itself was awarded after a dive.
Technology would have to be all or nothing, and all certainly won't be workable without totally ruining the way the game is played.
