However, I do love sticking it up the noses of Wendyball fans when they go on about the Latics and their Premiership status. I may be off the mark but I reckon the Pies get a bigger home attendance than their land lords which reflects well, not just on Wigan RL, but on the sport of Rugby League.
I agree with your second comment re sticking it up the Latics, but you've missed the point with your first comment. Wigan would normally get 12-14,000 for a Quins match. If they sell 5,000 tickets at £10 each to two large companies who then give those tickets to their employees, then everyone gains. Wigan get £50,000 extra that they wouldn't normally get for a Quins game and will probably gain a few new fans.
