I doubt many of these England players are existentialist thinkers, wonder who they'll blame ?

It's been fun.

How do you work that one out? As none of the other leagues have any significant number of English players then English players must surely be a significant contributing factor to this league being the best in the world. If you replaced the English players with Italian players (or whoever) then it would no longer be the best league in the world because it would more or less be the Italian league.

The success of the Premier League is around 60% down to the foreign invasion.

The league division one was English/British. It was a good, fast, English type of game. The Premier League's success has been adding on fantastic foreign talent on top of that type of game.

If the Premier League went back to the number of English players of division one then it would be a massively inferior league.

Just watched the highlights of the Holland game to see what Robben did. Look at Robben play and then watch Joe Cole's impact for England. It's frightening.

At that point I could watch no more! When Capello felt the need to introduce Heskey for Defoe, I felt the need to get another pint and introduce myself to the outside world and the sun. :WALL:

Final is the minimum expectation. England expected.

Chuffing embarrassing and I laughed at the embarrassment that is our national side. Still, no matter what happens against Germany, it won't be 'fix the problem' it will be 'remove the apparent problem and blame the ref'.

Typical, fingers crossed we can qualify for the Euro's, I haven't laughed at a football game like that for a good while.

I don't know how much he's still struggling with the language (not enough to explain that surely) but equally, he'd be in a minority of one if he guinely thought it.
