The problem is that our 'best players' just aren't good enough when it comes to top level international football.

No, but when I go to Anfield next season I'm not going to conform to your pathetic request and boo Gerrard and Carragher.

An absolute ridiculous notion that you should rightly be shot down for.

Sven did better than supercoach Capello.

I haven't posted on here during the WC, but I feel I have to let out my frustrations now.

Why bring Heskey on instead of Crouch?

Why play Terry on his wrong side when he's our best defender?

What has happened to Rooney?

Why can't the referee tell if the ball is a foot over the line?

All questions that need answering.

James did well, having that defence in front of you must be a goalkeepers nightmare.

Ashley Cole definitely England's man of the tournament, even though the public hate him.

So you're happy with that ending to our tournament? 1 victory over Slovenia? OK

Of course I'm not happy with the tournament. I think our first two performances were extremely poor. But poor group performances aren't an issue when you qualify anyway.

With the players we have, and the fitness of Rooney effectively negating his talent, beating Germany was always going to be a mammoth task. We came close to pushing it, but ended up being ****ed by the lino.

I'm disappointed by England's exit, but when the squad is filled with Heskey, Joe Cole, Crouch, all of our goalkeepers, Upson, SWP, etc etc an exit to Germany was pretty much expected.

Seeing as it was expected, why the ridiculous plea for all the players to be booed next season and your other moronic wished?

Terry and Lampard won the double with Chelsea. Despite the krap that you ingest from the papers, Terry had a very good season under ridiculous stress and only suffered because every mistake he made was vvanked over because he was the newspapers villain of the week. Lampard again outscored most strikers. Rooney was on fire all season and was awarded all the PotY awards and lauded throughout the world as a great talent.

Crouch and Defoe did a job for Spurs in getting 4th place, but FFS that "success" is nothing compared to a league and cup double. Defoe's a fringe England player who is lucky to get the games he does. Crouch is lucky to be in the England squad.

Just because England lost 4-1 today you don't drop the best players you have and replace them with inferior players.

When has Lampard had any good form for England, Rooney i would have started with but when it was blatently obvious he'd brought his Iron boots with him i would have dropped him.

Terry should have either been dropped fullstop or left alone as far as Captaincy goes.
If Gerrard is a Left midfielder then i should be picked for the next world cup.

Klose picked for Germany because he plays well for Germany yet only scored 3 goals for club.

Some players play well for club but don't bring it internationally, Lampard as good as he is should never play for England.

It's been fun.

Our best players are.

The problem is that our best players aren't able to perform when unfit. They aren't able to carry substandard players riddled through the rest of the side.

No....he certainly shouldn't be allowed to score for them in the world cup.
That bit has at least been sorted.
I know now that Blatter and is army of Luddites will be swept aside now...it's inevitable...thank fook!.

Until the F.A set a directive to the coaches all the way down to grassroot level that technique & controlling the ball is paramount over everything else ,we will continue to talk about THAT YEAR (1966) until we have all shuffled off this planet :(

Rest assured, There is not ONE German player who is better than any English player, according to our experts. And as we all know, Germans are arrogant. :D
