I hope the FA make them make their own way home and the fans throw tomatoes at them at the airport. Then I hope every single one of them gets booed at every ground they go to next season.

And someone can tell Capello to go. I'll send a tenner to pay him off. Apparently he's just said we played well and he wasn't talking about a game last year.

England were up against an excellent attacking side in Germany. Having found themselves 2-0 down they managed to drag the game back to 2-2, only to be denied by a Chris28 on the touchline.

Having had the terrible luck of having a good goal not given England then have a screaming free kick hit the bar.

Being 2-1 down we are then let down by our substandard goalkeeper who lets in a shot he should have saved easily. Then chasing the game we lose a 4th.

Pretty much anyone who watches PL football and the England team knew that our squad was woefully weak in many parts. The WC performance was pretty much to be expected given the strength of the squad and the lack of fitness of our best player.

But then when the expected happens fools like you call for all the players to be booed next season and have to make their own way home.

Know-nothing retards like you fully deserve to see their team getting hammered and it be a big shock and disappointment to them.

love me I thought I'd thrown the toys out of the pram

So you're happy with that ending to our tournament? 1 victory over Slovenia? OK

We wouldn't have won the world cup...since we aren't good enough....but at least those players would have had a run out and a chance.
I am pretty sure that players that didn't get a sub chance will think Capello is a nice person.....and he is....for not giving them a chance. How many chances did Heskey get ?? The useless dumpling!!

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Are there any of our players that you could say, "Yeh, he played well".

Maybe James today apart from Mullers' goal.

I cant think of another player who actually played well.

Ashley Cole didnt do too badly, the rest were crap.

We need to pick another team to support...this is what I do every world cup.

Nice idea, but back to the rugby for me.

Stand-Offish wrote:To put Heskey and SWP on was an absolute insult to Crouch and others....Capello should go NOW!!!

Heskey and Wright-Phillips shouldn't be anywhere near an England shirt. If Capello does walk, I'd like to see us get an English coach.

Better form?

Terry and Lampard won the double with Chelsea. Despite the krap that you ingest from the papers, Terry had a very good season under ridiculous stress and only suffered because every mistake he made was vvanked over because he was the newspapers villain of the week. Lampard again outscored most strikers. Rooney was on fire all season and was awarded all the PotY awards and lauded throughout the world as a great talent.

Crouch and Defoe did a job for Spurs in getting 4th place, but FFS that "success" is nothing compared to a league and cup double. Defoe's a fringe England player who is lucky to get the games he does. Crouch is lucky to be in the England squad.

Just because England lost 4-1 today you don't drop the best players you have and replace them with inferior players.

Agree.

There's that guy who's just won a league with an unfashionable outfit - what's his name again?
