Not bothered today, but Monterosso looks like a good progressive horse to me, straight after his Ascot win I thought 'progressive stayer' looks better the further he goes. Hard to fathom out how good the Ascot form is with a lot of the field backing up so quickly after running at Epsom...a bit like Cheltenham horses running at Aintree it can give you false form.

Anyway, like I said looks a progressive stayer and looks an ideal Leger horse to me, that was my instant thought straight after Ascot... I went in then and I'm going in again for some more 10's on the basis that I think he will go close today and be much shorter after that...

It is very rare for England not to be favourites. Purely because this is England and people will back us blindly. We were 10/1 for the World Cup when realistically we were probably a 16/1 shot. Very rarely back England myself as we are always a daft price.
