How I love the flat. We've seen the bookies get walloped this week, a far cry from the Cheltenham lottery. Every cloud has a silver lining though as they're bound to be cleaning up on the World Cup.

Markington was supposed to be an armchair ride today for Fallon...was a lot more difficult in the end and needed Fallon to be at his absolute best!
Happy with another winner and the definite thing to take out of the race was the performance of the runner up...well worth keeping an eye on next time out!
Keep an eye out for Coconut Ice if it runs on Thursday, it's entered up at the moment in a class 6 and is a lot better than that. Has had 3 runs already but then had a slight setback.
Just looked on Sporting Life's results and it beggars belief that people were having thousands of pounds on Aegean Shadow at odds on at Lingfield, when it has done all of its winning on turf, only other run on AW was a flop as well. Some people really do back horses due to the trainer/jockey being a big yard - Cecil/Queally. Fast way to the poor house.
