Some of his passing was beyond awful tonight and one back pass in particular was inches from disaster. That said, he wasn't our worst performer by some way.

my words to rooney are "go f**K yourself your stealing a living you if you cant take the criticism" how he was on for 90 mins is beyond me and capello is showing him self up to be as bad as previous managers.

The back pass was in the second half. The comment was made at half time. In the first half he did little wrong. IMO defensively we were sound, it was pretty much everywhere else we were dreadful.

My in the heat of the moment analysis.

Carragher shouldn't be there. Too slow, could be a blessing in disguise having him out of the last game.

Gerrard on the left shouldn't be happening. We are crying out to have Gerrard play off Rooney but we somehow insist on playing one of the best CM/AMC's in the world out on the left.

Heskey is awful. Expectations of him are that low that when he wins a few headers he is playing well. Nevermind he gets caught offside with embarrassing frequency and can't finish for love nor money.

Rooney looked nowhere near fit. At a guess I'd say he isn't fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of training earlier in the week.

Capello is far too stubborn. Everybody could see it just wasn't working but he delayed and delayed making a change. Then he subbed Lennon for SWP when to me it looked like Barry was blowing out of his booty. Is it something to do with being England manager that makes managers lose it?

Who did come out with credit tonight?
I think Terry did, Johnson did.....now I'm struggling...Barry was OK.
I think that the players aren't happy at the starting line up with Heskey on and it's eroding confidence,....the man gets chances and squanders them on the back of sweat from other players.

After this World Cup let's get back to having a manger who can speak English. I'm fed up of listening to "manuel" telling us how it is after the match. How much is Fabio directing to the players? Does Stuart Pearce tell them they're crap or does Fabio fumble through his Anglo-Italian dictionary?

Fawlty Towers looks like a think tank compared to this shower.

No according to Rooney they aren't loyal because they booed the team of the pitch.

What a knuckle shuffler.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

Capello is making it up as he goes along and taking the big bucks.
Perhaps he is a double agent for the Italian side after all.
