You're right about the number of good players in the Ghana set-up. Read one particular world cup blog last week which reasoned that Essien was Ghana, therefore they had no chance without him. Ahh, experts.

Teams seem to be happy with a draw 1st game, but can't really judge the competition as a whole until we have seen the big guns in Spain,Brazil,Germany,Italy & Holland.
