I think he'll go back to playing from the left, I think Capello does prefer the system we used in qualifying - since we went away from that in the subsequent friendlies I think the standard of our performances have slipped.

The problem is unless the first choice 11 are fit and firing that system doesn't really work that well because of our lack of depth.

Load of cack, after watching Argentina and then that, we stand no chance at all.

Well at least I won't be getting carried away and think we have a chance after that complete tosh. We looked clueless for the majority of the game and could easily have lost when Green managed to palm it on to his own post. I'm sorry ITV but it looked to me that Green palmed it toward his own goal when it was going wide. Not the remarkable save it was made out to be.

Few changes I'd make for Algeria. Hart in for Green. Crouch in for Heskey as I thought we looked a lot more dangerous with Crouch on the pitch. Anyone but Carragher in the middle, I'm assuming King is crocked for at least the next 2 games.

Listening to what other people are saying it seems I've called it completely wrong though.

I agree with you, mate. And so do the other folk watching with me. We were a shambles for most of the game - 90 minutes without scoring against the USA FFS.

ITV's punditry is laughable, we drew out first game in 1996 don't you know? England fully dominated the game, Gerrard and Lampard worked well in the middle, Green saved us the game - next it will be Rooney proved why he's one of the best in the world :USTUPID:

I thought Johnson and Lennon did well at times, and Gerrard provided some drive from the middle. Terry, Cole and Heskey did exactly what you'd expect them to do but that was it as far as any kind of positives go everything else about the display was disappointing as far as I am concerned.
