Top goalscorer wise...Milito of Argentina has to be decent value at 28/1 and as a dark horse Podolski at 50/1 should be considered.

I think Milito is about 4th choice striker for Argentina.

Best young side in South America (only 2 players in the squad over 30), 2nd place in the SAm qualifiers, one of the best young (and largely unheralded so far) talents in world football ready to announce himself to a wider audience, an experienced coach who banished the old heads/bad lads in the squad for the young uns after they messed about too much, a relatively easy group (other than Spain who they play last anyway when both should be through), very attack-minded side who score plenty of goals...

Saw a bit of Chile in the qualifiers, defensively they can probably be got at but they were decent to watch and played with some quality, I can see them pipping Switzerland to make it through, but it's a tough draw for them from there.

From the lesser heralded South American sides I wouldn't be too surprised to see Uruguay or Paraguay having a decent run.

The talent Aregentia have going forward is just ridiculous.

Aguero, Milito, Higuain, Tevez, Messi

And your right, Milito won't start. It's likely to be Higuain, Messi and Tevez.

I've got a fiver on Van Persie at 25/1 and a cheeky quid on Oscar Cardozo of Paraguay at 100/1

Couple of quid on Nilmar(33s) and Forlan(66s) for me. Can see Uruguay getting out of their group and as we have seen Forlan is lethal. Nilmar is a bit of a random stab. Thought Fabiano was too short a price and I've heard good things about Nilmar. Villa will take some stopping mind. Have to fancy Spain to net a few times in the group stages.

Denmark at 100/1 are too big. 25-1 to reach the semis is worth a punt - there's usually an unexpected semi-finalist in World Cups, so that's where my fiver's going.

Group G to be the highest scoring group at 4/1 isnt a bad shout not massive odds but a nice little bet with a fiver seen as North Korea 'should' be the whipping boys.

Not a bad shout at all, I fancy them as dark horses. Problem is I think the chances are they play Spain in the quarters.
