“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”
I mentioned it last night incase anyone wasn't planning to have a look at the racecards for tonights meetings.
It won, didn't it, and an early price of 4/6 is better than nothing. A winner is a winner.
Surely this thread is about nipping the bookies for a few quid, or to be allowed to put on a tip does it have to be a 20/1 shot that might sneak third with the wind behind it? Would you rather I had put forward a loser?
Generally, a tip is a horse with a chance of winning, not usually the favourite but not a rank outsider (unless a Curley horse) not something that is so short as a 4/6 or 8/13.

No a tip is a horse that has a very good chance of winning end of.
Doesn't matter about the price although you probs could of got better then 4/6 early on Betfair.
I have stuck a few hundred on 4/6 shots in the past knowing its spot on and should win but most of the time I will look for another jolly an double up like the other day.
