Ended up with a small E/W bet on Meeznah at the last minute. Remembered the name from somewhere then the video form reminded me of it's belting victory last time out. Shame she couldn't quite get there but it was a great run none the less.

Great ride by Ryan!
On to tomorrow's racing and the Epsom Derby Day highlight - the Epsom Dash.
Epsom Dash Jaconnet - One filly that really takes my eye is Ted Barron's Jaconnet. She's better known for her exploits on the all-weather surfaces of Lingfield and usually in a higher grade that she's racing in here today. She can be forgiven her run last time out at Thirsk which came just two days after being reeled in by Johannes in a valuable 5f sprint at York's Dante meeting. Her trainer knows the time of day in these big sprints and wouldn't send her here if he felt she wasn't ready for this, the 5f will suit her as will the downhill nature of the course given the blistering early speed she shows. She will be up there early and the only negative is the draw (5) which is out in the centre of the track - which her early pace should negate and she can get across to the rail.
Had a tenner on F & G, purely because it meant I'd staked enough overall to qualify me for a free bet which I will probably use on the big one tomorrow.
