Sorry - thought you said you were baiting some FC fans, which generally means to criticise/tease. Just pointing out how that would be "just plain silly" given our relative positions on a number of different criteria at this moment in time.

GML unless this thread actually touches on the excellent RSG organised Rovers Fun Day, which incidentally I attended long with many, many others and the whole first team contingent to boot, then FFS lock it!

Sensible chat about RSG fun day, please. Failing that, I'm treating it as a troll trap - seriously.

No provocation, either. RSG fun day or nothing.

As I said earlier an excellent event, extremely well attended and glorious weather too! I'm sure the coffers were well boosted. The players signing autographs bit was a tad chaotic to say the least but probably due the fact that so many of the first team squad attended, so well done for that. I can appreciate why they had the players lined up to sign autographs in view of last years events when players were mobbed for autographs as they left their cars and some never made it into the pub grounds but, after experiencing the 'Thanks the Fans Day', maybe to spread them around the event would be better and less chaotic?....just a thought! Anyway well done to all concerned on a cracking family event!
PS. Does the pub contribute some of their extra profit to the RSG in some way as their takings must have gone through the roof!?
An excellent and well attended day at the Apollo and a credit to the RSG. Followed in our case by a barbeque on Kingswood. Another excellent do spoiled only by one mouthy oink who had a little to much amber nectar. TBF he was told to behave or leave and the grub was that good he shut up ( Better he be told on the day than the host be complained to the following day that all was not right).
Good foresight by the organisers to arrange the better of the bank holiday weather.
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated

Not attended them myself but FC do it twice annually. They have the BBQ with the players during the summer and they have an additional one on bonfire night. I believe they are both at Brantingham Park.
