Got to be one of the most overated players in SL

aT loose last year he looked fantastic, the move to 9 and more recently 6 has seen him look average at best. Would like to see him have a run at 13 again and see if he recaptures his form.

yeah, they just never stop banging on about him in the press - it's Scott Murrell this, Scott Murrell that.

I thought he was very good at loose forward, but has been pretty ordinary at hooker. Mind, most of the team have generally hasn't been at it's best. With the emergence of Hodgson, hopefully Murrell will revert to 13 mostly, covering injuries at 6 and 9.

13 is Murrell's best position.

Headline doesn't seem to reflect the quote, in fairness. They did out things right against Crusaders, even if this month old quote could easily be recycled after the second Saints debacle.

"We will also come through this better as a squad of players. It's a shame we have to wait another week to put things right.

"But it's good in the sense we can use this free weekend to get refreshed.

"We really want to get back out on the pitch and correct the mistakes we have made recently.

Now, even if he did predict top 4, the concept that a sports person, or anybody else for that matter might, might express ambition only to be disappointed or make a prediction that turns out to be incorrect, is a mundane fact of life for most of us. For you it is an unending source of amusement and that is lovely - there's really no need to share, you keep it all to yourself.
Murrell as a RL player, please.

Whilst Morgan's annual February "we want to win everything" interview is good fun, it's the whacky denial 3 months later that any such aims were ever stated that's the real entertainment value.

On topic - Murrell - isn't a hooker, I'd say. Hodgson and Fisher are hookers. Might sound a bit radical, but what about playing Hodgson and Fisher at hooker and having Newton, Galea and Murrell as the back 3?
