Unexpected win on Salford yesterday, used the proceeds as liabilty to lay Barcelona at 1.06 on Betfair to win La Liga.
It looks like and may well end up being money thrown away, but with Clemente's Valladolid needing a point to avoid the drop, a Barca side missing Xavi and Iniesta may not have it all their own way. Although Real Madrid face a similar test at Malaga, I can see them getting the three points more easily.

You realise that Malaga need to win to stay up too?

Yes, and on paper Real's looks the harder assignment but I still expect them to win.
Obviously Barca are clear favourites for the title, but Valladolid have been hard to beat since Clemente took over and there's always the chance they could nick a point.
Whichever way it goes I reckon 1.06 isn't bad odds to lay anyway.

Looking like an excellent piece of info 60-0 at half time.

In your face Mr Bookie
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”

With the score currently 114-0 I'm going to post. Hope you all got on and big. I'm not going to mention numbers but barring the comeback of all comebacks that has paid for my flights home this summer, the new camera I've been looking at and dinner out tonight with the girlfriend.

Cheers for the heads-up mate. Sounds like you had a fair wedge on. I had three-figures on it but I doubt it was as much as you!
