Reason i wouldnt enjoy it there as much is that there wouldnt be much mixing between fans - everyone would be on the tube going there seperate ways to hotels and pubs.
Have you never had a pint in covent garden or Leicester square on CC Final weekend?
Twickenham is surroundign by great areas to drink, it would be fantastic.
London are making a massive effort to promote the game, there is a thriving amateur set up in place at last and both pro clubs could do with a shot in the arm to help get more interest.
There is a big Aussie population who would surely be interested in and many more general sports fans who would give it a try if promoted properly. You could even have a major Union game mixed in to attract some of their gay following.
And there would be no issue with people paying over the odds for hotels, food or a pint, as London can and has stage big events without ripping people off.
