Yup. Then back in the week afterwards and looked good. Doenst look out of place in SL and carries us forward well. Even RBA was singing his praises at Edinburgh, although thats probably because the rest of our side looked lacklustre and average.

All things aside Rovers signing another young prop would not have made any sense.

Am i right in thinking that at the time it wasnt a call between the two though because Rovers didnt contact Clinton until a couple of weeks later? Dont think it was that kind of choice for Rovers.

Wheeldon it appears has the same problem as Moa in that his coach sees 4 other props in the pecking order before him if everyone is fit.
Hard to achieve and sustain a level of form when your in and out the side
For the first 8 rounds Lovegrove was our most consistant performer.
He has not matched that in recent weeks so hopefully the break for the cup will allow him to regain that.
Morgan prefers the more mobile forward to the impact forward it seems but i agree with your point as that type of player can change the momentum of a game with one good break or hit.

Plus i know that as well as Watts a couple more have extended deals but the club will break that news when it suits them

Well, any signing before the end of the season is selling the fans short, according to your chairman. So in a hypothetical scenario that Rovers continue to struggle this season, put season passes on sale in July and announce a signing to boost interest, that would be rank hypocrisy, obviously. But clearly that won't happen.



What would signing a player on a 2 year extension and playing him in SL 4 times in 2 seasons look like, then - extremely useless?
