I think Asim meant that the crowds are irrelevant in regards to whether they deserve to be in the PL. I agree with that. They deserve to be in the PL because they have earned the right to be there and earned the right to stay there, on the field. The day that the PL excludes smaller clubs because they don't have the support base to gain entry to the PL will be a black day for football.

Just got in from work. Good to see Wigan had a good go of it Incredible to think you can ship more than 2 a game and stay up these days. Looking at the table what do people think of the lower reaches of the PL? The old 40 point barrier would be good enough for a lower mid-table finish these last 2 seasons. Is that good for the game? Or a sign that the bottom of the PL is very poor?
Well deserved title win for Chelsea, if you score 103 goals you're worthy champions. Add a few players next year and we'll be back challenging next year.
