Moa is out of contract at Hull with Agar unsure of whether to offer him a deal because of his deficencies in defence.
Moa's agents touts his name around and 2 unnamed clubs have supposedly made him offers.
The HDM run a story saying one of them is Rovers.
Not confirmed by the club once and smack in the middle of a time where every Rovers story the HDM ran turned out to be wrong
Surprise surprise the player gets a new deal at Hull
Neil Hudgell is asked on the Online Interview with the fans if Rovers ever made an offer for Moa and his reply which was posted on this site is an categoric NO.
So forgive me it i take his version of events over a couple of keyboard would be wind up merchants one of which talks bollax on a daily basis
You didnt weigh up any pro's and con's there. You simply listed what you believed to be the events that took place.
Here's my version:
Moa was OOC and Agar was looking at the benefits of using a quota space on Moa or looking to fill another position.
Moa is allowed to talk to SL clubs and prior to the HDM running a story i hear that Moa is in talks with Castleford, Celtic and Rovers.
Forget the HDM story, they generally repeat things from various sources and never really break anything of note.
The 3 offers on the table are more than Moa is offered at Hull but he doesnt want to go elsewhere. His agent plays silly games for a little bit and in the end Moa gets a decent 2 year deal at FC.
Neil Hudgell answers the question 'No' on the forum. Now if you believe every word he tells you you're sillier than us believing James Rules spin!
The simple fact of it as was mentioned earlier is that Rovers would have been stupid not to talk to an up and coming impact prop when that was the position Morgan had indicated at strengthening.
It's not something to be ashamed of you know losing out on a player to FC.
(i heard my version of events from a couple of different 'in the know' sources. As i said, doesnt really matter which version of events are true, does make me chuckle though around the Rovers denial spin that often occurs in relation to FC)
