Here is what I'd like to see, looking forward:
All of this...

Problem with this is a flat line is worthless when a good well drilled defence get into your face giving Dobbo less time with the ball to make a decision. If we were to use Dobsons flat attack along with a second phase out the back that can punnish any on rushers with a tidy little tip on it would increase our attacking potency.
This is unfortunately soemthing we dont have, with Galea we have a similar sort of flat attack and by moving him to loose man and Murrell to hooker we cant really do too much with Scotty. I'd also like to see Scotty have more of a say in the kicking department, he can land a ball on a five pence piece 30yrds away and Byron Ford made a good living off these in the early days a lot like Raynor and Yeaman did off Cooke's long cut out passes.
I dont mind if Dobson stays or goes, I think we'd live without him and we'll struggle to find a stand off that can play alongside him, however if we can just get that second phase worked out we could find ourselves in some very good attacking plays and not have to find both half backs possibly a loose man and a world class centre in the off season.
Personnel wise Galea and Webster are not part of the problem, but unfortunately they are taking up valuable quota spots. We need a top stand-off (Chaz I'anson is a decent utility squad member, but isn't looking like he is going to kick on from that) and the only place I think we'll find one is the NRL. Bell from the academy seems highly rated, so a veteran to knock us into shape for a couple of years would be fine. Mills is effectively gone already and it wouldn't be a surprise if Wheeldon moved on too. Colbon, Lovegrove, Watts and Walker (assuming he makes a successful return to playing) I'd keep for another year at least. With the money saved there and from Cooke's departure, we'd probably need a prop and a centre. The prop, I'd ideally like to be somebody who can offer something different - busting tackles or offloading - otherwise we may as well stick with Wheeldon. Centre is difficult, limited to UK-trained who'll be in high demand - we could use Walker there and look at 2nd rowers instead, if we couldn't get anybody better.
Murrell to return to loose forward, leaving hooker to Fisher and Hodgson.
